Members and associates celebrate the coming of Christmas by recalling that at Christmas a poor child received a red wagon that he requested so that he could deliver laundry for his mother from Mary Virginia Merrick and the newly formed Christ Child Society.  Attendees of the luncheon donate sweatpants, under wear and socks knowing that all children should be dry and warm. The joy of the coming season fills our hearts.
